The Sacramento Thrift Store offers two Voucher Programs For SVDP Conferences:
One of these is the Mattress Voucher, which provides three styles of bed sets at a discounted price for those in need. A conference can order a complete set or individual items, such as a mattress, box spring, or bed frame. There is one order form per style to fill out and submit via email to the store. The store scheduler will then contact the client to arrange either delivery or pickup. Once the voucher process is complete, the accounting department will bill your conference.

The second program is the Voucher Card. Conferences can order a voucher card, which functions like a gift card, in any amount. This enables the neighbor to visit the store and select essential items discussed with them, such as clothing, shoes, accessories, kitchenware, or furniture. This approach preserves dignity for the neighbor by allowing them to shop like any other customer and to return if they cannot find what they need during their first visit. To order voucher cards, you can choose one of three options:
1. Mail the form request to the store's address listed on the form, including payment by check. We will mail the cards to your conference.
2. Email the form request along with a direct bank transfer for payment. We will ship the cards to you.
3. Bring the form into the store and pay with a company card, check, or cash to receive the cards immediately. Distribute the cards to your clients as appropriate, or purchase a specific card to leave with the store in a secure location for the neighbor to pick up.
The balance on the card cannot be exchanged for cash and will remain available until fully utilized. An open balance verification system for the conferences is being developed, and further information will be provided upon completion.
