The Thrift Store

An integral part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Sacramento is its Thrift Store located at 2275 Watt Avenue, Sacramento, California. The telephone number to the store is (916) 972-1212. The store is located at Watt Avenue and Butano Drive. Without the Thrift Store, the Society could not operate and flourish as it does. The Thrift Store exists to give community members an opportunity to shop economically. Additionally, when Vincentians are serving those in need, they have a source of material goods at hand. Profits from the Thrift Store are used directly in the Vincentian service to those in need. The Thrift Store has many and varied items including high quality furniture, clothing, books, pictures and antiques. The store is open Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5:00 p.m. The Thrift Store accepts donations of furniture, appliances, clothing, books and other items during hours the store is open except on Sundays. Arrangements can be made for donations to be picked up by calling (916) 972-1212. Volunteers are also needed in the store. If you can help even a few hours per week, your contribution of time would be greatly appreciated. Please call the store at (916) 729-4077 to volunteer your time and aid those in need.
