and Compasion" on Friday September 28th
The
Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Sacramento Council is participating
in the Macy's
Downtown Sacramento Community Shopping Day, "Fashion
and Compasion" on Friday September 28th.
Tickets are $10 and the benefits are vast and include live entertainment,
light refreshments and fashion shows, 100% of the proceeds from our
ticket sales go to SVDP, so you will be giving back to the community
plus it provides discounts on merchandise. In addition if you enter
their $1,000 shopping spree drawing with your ticket the SVDP council
receives an additional $3.

Ozanam
Day of Recollection
Saint Vincent de Paul Sacramento Council will be having an Ozanam
Day of Recollection from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday October 6th,
at Saint Lawrence Parish 4325 Don Julio Blvd. North Highlands, CA.
The day will begin with a Mass at 8:00 am followed by a continental
breakfast in the Saint Lawrence hall. There will be a variety of
guest speakers and the event includes lunch. There is no charge for
the event but RSVPs are required by September 29th, to 916 341-9992

The Ozanam Day of Recollection is open to Vincentians from throughout
the Sacramento Diocese and anyone interested in learning more about
the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. You do not need to be a Roman
Catholic to attend.
